I loved working with this adventurous couple, both athletes. They said they were up for adventure for their engagement session and that’s what we got on the road to Hana when we bouldered up a velvety green ravine to a tall Maui waterfall with no one else around. We missed catching Pranee’s Thai Food open in Hana, however, after I talked it up the whole ride. The wedding was at Olowalu Plantation House, one of my favourite spots, and, as it turns out, one of the best spots probably in the world to gaze at the Milky Way on your wedding day. I think the couple enjoyed a break alone from the party for this shot as their eyes adjusted to see the stars and I lit the scene. A week after the wedding I was out in Hana and bumped into them at… Pranee’s Thai Food. I was so happy that they had the chance to round out their Maui wedding with one of my very favourite culinary destinations.
