This wedding was 2019 but I'm blogging in pandemic world and realizing that going forward many weddings will look like this - which, as you will see, is a beautiful thing. This couple brought their very immediate families to Maui for their micro wedding at Olowalu Plantation House, coordinated by Your Aloha Wedding Company. I believe wedding guests numbered under a dozen. It was intimate, chill, super relaxed and fun. The bride got ready with her sisters and mother who helped her with her stunning Galia Lahav gown and earrings.
When the bride was ready she casually walked down the steps of the plantation House and surprised everyone before they were seated. From there everyone took a seat under the big tree by the ocean and the couple exchanged their vows. We enjoyed a stunning sunset out on the jetty with the unique view of the West Maui Mountains that makes this Maui wedding venue stand out as one of the best. We met a few days later for a few more portraits at a waterfall, in some banyan roots and on the windswept north shore of Maui.
Please let me know if you could see yourself having a micro wedding at Olowalu Plantation House or anywhere on Maui. I would love to give you my assistance on Maui wedding venues and other local vendors to help create your perfect little covid-proof wedding of your dreams. It's something we did her on Maui long before the virus struck, just due to the often intimate nature of destination weddings. I would also love to help plan a day after session in your wedding attire for some bonus scenic shots to round out your gallery of Maui wedding photos. Aloha.
