KOKI BEACH AND HANA WATERFALL ELOPEMENT ON MAUI

Hana is the most remote place on the far east pont of the island of Maui. Its long and winding road is world famous for its hairpin turns and fifty something one lane bridges. That said, Hana holds its rewards for the adventurous and feels like a world apart. I hoped to hint at some of the magical possibilities with this part of the island by sharing this Koki beach and Hana waterfall elopement shoot.

The beautiful silk slip dress and veil is from A La Robe in France (I met the wonderful designer, Elizabeth, a few years ago in Italy.) The rest of the beauty is sourced right from local Hana talent. Andrea Rodriguez of Crafted Hawaii is based in Hana and designed the gorgeous floral installation inspired by the stratified red rock of Koki beach itself. Maui grown flowers were provided by Harvest Dream Girl

The lei po'o was made by Alohi Elder of Hana Maui Creations

Jewelry was made by Liquid Sunshine Jewelry and Hana Maui Creations

Table wares were provided by Set Maui and Tablecandy.

Bar set and furniture by Crafted Hawaii.

Thank you, Hana artisans, for coming together to make some beautiful images showcasing just a couple of aspects of Hana's remote beauty. It's hard to choose between the lush jungle and waterfall setting and the red rock and beach location. I look forward to working out in Hana again soon, even though I'm on the north shore it's always worth the drive. For more Maui elopement inspiration click here.
