I was so pleased to help plan and photograph this Maui elopement. The couple knew that they wanted to include the Haiku Mill in their day but were also interested in an evening ceremony. They got dressed in the afternoon at the Mill’s cane house and had their first look on the lanai. We then did some portraits in the larger mill structure itself and the garden. After a kombucha break in Haiku we headed back toward Paia for a dusk ceremony on the lava rock perched over the ocean. The groom waited on the rocks below while the bride made her way down to the sound of the conch to exchange vows. I love it when my clients pull out their own cameras because they are so taken with where we are. Beautiful Hawaiian ceremony performed by Kale and bouquet by Bella Bloom Maui.
