It’s too bad that not many people who visit Maui ever discover upcountry. I love shooting up here — I adore the beach and the ocean but this is just a different world and where I happen to live (in Kula). Here is another collaboration with my friend Amanda of Feast Hawaii. It started off as a promotional shoot for the up and coming Spring Feast event and then a vintage wedding dress came out of Amanda’s room and onto Lucy and a bouquet was made with the local elements on set and we made some very upcountry Maui portraits of her. Styling and florals were by Feast Hawaii, Hair and makeup were by MeiLi Autumn Beauty and the flowing silk ribbon is from Adorn Company
